A pesticide license is required of everyone applying Restricted Use pesticides or anyone applying General or Restricted Use pesticides in the course of employment.

IDOA inspects and certifies nearly 900 nurseries in Illinois each year. A listing of these nurseries, nursery dealers and special certifications (if applicable) can be found on the Department's website.

The Illinois State Fairgrounds encompasses over 360 acres of land with more than 150 buildings and over 1,000 stalls for livestock or horses. The many amenities offered here on the Illinois State Fairgrounds will assist you in hosting your event, large or small.
Egg License Application Form
The Illinois Egg and Egg Products Act requires anyone who grades, packs, sells or barters eggs must be licensed with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Animal Health and Welfare Licenses - Pets
The application must be submitted by all who want to become the operator of a pet shop, cattery, dog dealer, kennel, animal control facility, or animal shelter.
Feed Distribution & Manufacturing License Application
Any person and or company that manufactures commercial feed in Illinois or whose name appears on the label of the product must obtain an Illinois Commercial Feed License.
Grain Dealers & Grain Warehouse License Application
The Department of Agriculture licenses grain dealers and grain warehouses and examines the books and records of each at least once annually, checking for compliance with the Illinois Grain Code.
Registration of Honeybee Colonies
Registration of one or more honeybee colonies with the Department is required of beekeepers to help protect and enhance Illinois’ Apiary Industry.
Online Animal Import Permits
All livestock entering Illinois, and consignments to Illinois auction markets, federally approved markets, and recognized slaughtering establishments shall be accompanied by a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection and/or permit.
