Enjoy seasonal shopping at this outdoor market decked out for the holidays. Browsing the vendors under twinkling white lights is extra festive with live music, ready-to-eat food, the Illinois Wine tent, prize giveaways and children’s activities.

Orr Building | Illinois State Fairgrounds | Springfield, IL

The Illinois Product Expo has brought Illinois food companies and consumers together for 25 years now! It now attracts more than 7,000 attendees and 70 vendors. What better way to discover new locally-made products than with samples, talking directly with the producers and restocking those long-time favorites. Everyone’s also invited to sample and enjoy wine from the Illinois Wine Garden.

The Shed | Illinois State Fairgrounds | Springfield

The Thursday farmers markets run weekly starting the third week of May and end the last week of September at The Shed. The market hosts a variety of producers, growers, bakers, artisans and other local vendors, as well as a food truck with ready-to-eat options, wine and beer choices and free live music on the Lincoln Stage. 

August 8-11, 2024
Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, IL

 The Artisan Market under the Illinois Department of Agriculture Tent at the Illinois State Fair offers fairgoers the unique opportunity to sample products, meet makers and producers, and make unique purchases. The Artisan Market is a three-day market during the first weekend of the Illinois State Fair in August.

August 12–18, 2024
Illinois State Fairgrounds | Springfield, IL

The Illinois Product Store is a limited-time opportunity allowing shoppers to browse a curated selection of Illinois Products while visiting the Illinois State Fair. Hosted during the weekdays and the last weekend of the fair, look for the store’s red-and-white-striped canopy in the Illinois Department of Agriculture tent.

August 23 - September 2, 2024
Du Quoin State Fairgrounds | Du Quoin, IL

It’s now a Du Quoin State Fair tradition that a variety of Illinois Product vendors gather in the Expo Building to show their goods and wares and sell directly to the public. This market is open during the last weekend of the Du Quoin State Fair, which spans the Labor Day weekend.
