Agricultural Legislative Day - March 22, 2022

The Illinois Agricultural Legislative Day, known as IALD, brings to cultural Legislative Day, known as IALD, brings together a diverse set of agriculture interest groups to the state Capitol to speak to state lawmakers in Springfield. Jointly, they provide baskets filled with agricultural products and specialty lunches for the legislators, serving as a reminder of the multiple facets agriculture has in the lives of their constituents and the impacts their choices make on the world of agriculture.

IALD provides an opportunity to strengthen and build relationships among various entities effecting Illinois agriculture.

A special thank you to our agriculture groups, for providing the essentials for IALD including a box lunch and a commodity basket for each legislator. We are also fortunate to have the support of more than 1,000 Illinois FFA members and their vocational-agriculture teachers.

It is our agricultural community who makes this event truly successful. We appreciate your commitment and support for the 52nd IALD.
