Thoroughbred Horse Racing

*Three horses must be entered to fill and schedule each race. Races with fewer than three entries will be combined with the same-distance race for the same age (for example, 2YO fillies combined with 2YO colts & geldings at 5 furlongs). Purse money for combined races will also be combined (for example, a 2YO combined ICF race at 5 furlongs would include a purse of $19,360 instead of $9,680).

Races with fewer than three posted entries after scratches shall be canceled.

If more than eight entries are taken for a given race, the Racing Secretary will either:

1) Split the race into two divisions, or
2) List entries that do not draw positions as “also eligible”.

Fees:

$100 total ($50 Jockey Fee, $50 Administrative Fee)
Please arrive two hours prior to the first race to submit your Illinois-stamped Jockey Club certificate for thoroughbreds or owner's papers for quarter horses.
