Remember that tags are assigned to your PIN and cannot be shared with another PIN. Also note that once a tag is applied with an animal, it is the official ID that remains with the animal for its lifetime. You are not to remove an official ID and should not apply a second official ID. If an animal loses its official ID, then the official retag must be recorded and reported with both the old number and the replacement number.
